Diaphragm valve
Diaphragm valves are mainly block valves that use elastic diaphragm rubber or PTFE as opening and closing components and sealing components. The valve body is ridge type (weir type), and the ridge and diaphragm form the valve seal. The diaphragm is fixed around the periphery and divides the valve chamber into two parts that are not connected to each other. Below the diaphragm is a fluid channel. The valve disc, valve stem, valve cover and other parts are located on the upper part of the diaphragm, isolated from the fluid and not corroded by the fluid, while also preventing impurities such as rust from contaminating the fluid. Diaphragm valves do not require packing boxes and can achieve zero leakage of the medium. The diaphragm material is mainly made of rubber and fluoroplastic.
