Fire resistant breathable cap

The main function of the flame arrester breathable cap is to prevent external flames from entering equipment or pipelines containing flammable and explosive gases, as well as to prevent flames from spreading between equipment or pipelines. The design principle of the flame arrester breathable cap is to use the principle of extinguishing flames due to heat loss when they pass through narrow pores in thermal conductors. Fire blocking breathable cap is a safety device used to prevent flames from spreading outward. It is composed of a solid material (flame retardant element) that can pass through gas and has many small channels or gaps. The gap or channel of the flame retardant element is required to be as small as possible. Therefore, when the flame enters the flame retardant breathable cap, it is divided into many small flame flows by the flame retardant element. Due to heat transfer (gas is cooled) and wall effect, the flame flow is quenched, while air can still pass through normally.
